I harvested my melon patch last week before the first freeze. Overall, we got 3 decent watermelons and 2 cantaloupes. I'm sure if I really researched more, I could have figured out when to pick them. But we enjoyed what we got. Katie really liked feeling the textures and seeing if she could lift (and throw*) them! :)
