72 Hour Kits

Lately, I've been working on our food storage and getting together some 72 hour kits for our family. So, I've been watching for sales on fruit snacks and granola type bars. Albertsons is having a pretty good sale starting tomorrow. And here is part of my plan:

Buy 5 Betty Crocker fruit snacks or roll-ups= $10
Buy 5 Nature Valley Bars = $12.50

Get $3.50 off my next shopping order from the fruit snacks and $3.50 OMNSO from the bars (they will print off at check-out). PLUS, if you buy 10 general mills, betty crocker, or pillsbury products, you get $10 off your next shopping order. So, it would look like this:

TOTAL=$22.50-$10-$3.50-$3.50= $5.50

There is also a $0.75 off two fruit snacks IF you can get them to print from BettyCrocker.com or BoxTops4Education. The websites were experiencing problems tonight, but if you do get them to print, the total bill would be $4, or $0.40/box!

P.P.S. The Nature Valley bars are $11.89 for 48 count at Costco here ($0.25/bar), as opposed to $0.06/bar at Albertsons tomorrow. The Chex bars are 10.69 for a 35 count (or $0.30/bar), as opposed to $0.15 tomorrow.
