As many of you know, President Gordon B. Hinckley, the president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, passed away yesterday evening. President Hinckley became the prophet before I graduated high school and I am grateful for his guidance and wisdom during these defining years of my life. Though he will be missed by countless people worldwide, we are glad he can be reunited with his loved ones, especially his wife, Majorie, who has already passed on. He will be remembered for his wonderful wit, his charming demeanor, his no-nonsense approach to life, and his unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ. Thanks be to God for the life and example of this great man.
