I am way behind on posting, but here's a quick glimpse of what we've been up to. Last Saturday, we all went to the local Fire Station for their annual Fire Safety Day. For a small town, it was really well done. They had 14 stations set up and the kids did everything: they watched a safety video, saw the call room, watched the helicopter take off, meet the Arson dog, climbed out of a fire safety house, went in an ambulance, watch the extraction team take the roof off a car, RODE in a fire truck (sirens and all), shot the fire hose, and had pizza at the end. It was a nice break from all the unpacking.

I like Ethan and Katie's view of the back of the ambulance better than mine! Their view was free also!
It doesn't even look like there were any people there! Fun!
