Christmas Eve
We had a nice Christmas Eve day and evening. Ethan sprinkled reindeer food on the lawn and we attempted sugar cookies. I learned that you can't add too much flour or you better be prepared to PRY them out of the bowl. :) They turned out OK - just a little crunchy, but Santa didn't mind. Ethan wrote a letter to Santa, e-mailed him, and got a letter back. Then, we put out the milk, cookies, and water for the reindeer, hung the stockings, and told the the Christmas story. Finally, we opened our traditional "one Christmas Eve" present, which is always an ornament. This year we also opened a board game, which was Blockus and had a ton of fun playing that until the little ones were asleep. It was a good night!
