Victoria

A few days after Christmas, our family went on an overnight adventure to Victoria, British Columbia. I'm just going to say up front IT WAS THE BEST FAMILY VACATION we have ever had. Maybe it was the fact that we each packed a backpack and went, maybe it was because we didn't have to take car seats, maybe the kids were older, maybe it was the SUNSHINE, or the Christmas feeling, so it was WONDERFUL and I highly recommend it. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip.

We arrived on Wednesday and went to a Bug Museum and Miniature World which were right behind our "castle" hotel. That night, we boarded a bus for Buschart Gardens and saw the 12 Days of Christmas in Christmas lights. The next day, we toured a local church went to the Royal British Columbia Museum before boarding the Clipper back home.

One note: On the way back, the Clipper was so crowded that they had to put us in a "Private" cabin behind the wheelhouse. After we arrived in Seattle, the captain came out and asked Ethan if he would like a tour of the control room. It was amazing. Like I said, BEST TRIP EVER.

The Festival of Trees was going on inside our hotel. It was awesome!

The poop exhibit was their favorite - we are one classy family!

My favorite tree outside the hotel. Loved that sun!

The local church was stopped at.
