On our first real day in PA, we went south to see my dad's new home. It is an old stone house built in 1773 by a german immigrant. It is an amazing piece of history with all sorts of fun places to run, explore, or just rest and relax. The kids had a wonderful time discovering all the hidden spots here. (I just feel bad I didn't get better pictures. It was a perfect lighting day, but my camera got bumped. You still get the idea)
P.S. I don't know why blogger will enlarge certain pics and not other ones, but if you have any ideas, let me know :)

Katie went all around the property, while Ethan was happy to hang out in the areas of quiet contemplation :)

Ethan likes hangin' with Aunt Bonnie!

They finally found a spot both of them agreed was cool and relaxing.

Ethan couldn't believe how short people were back then.

Yuck-the slaughterhouse!

The bridge over the creek on the property was just beautiful!

Happy Day!

What beautiful pictures you got at Dad's house! Love the ones of Katie running by the tree. Great shot of Dad and the kids on the bridge too. So happy you got to visit!
