Memorial Day

For Memorial Day weekend, Greg's brother, Brian and his family flew in to visit. We spent a little bit of time here and then headed up north to Lake Whatcom for a couple days. It was a BEAUTIFUL area.. Despite the drizzly weather, we spent most of the time outdoors. There was so much to DO - kayaking, ping pong, pool, frisbee, playing in the mud, scaring Mom and Dad to death by running towards the water without a life jacket, swinging on the lakefront, making fires, playing games inside, exploring plants and animals, and of course playing with cousins and enjoying family. We could have stayed a whole week. I highly recommend it as a getaway. Thanks to Brian and Andrea for finding such an awesome spot! We had a great time!

Thanks to the covered fire pit, we were able to build two fires for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs - YUM!
